  1. This is the 3rd time I'm writing a comment as I'm not sure it went through the first time. As always, Eleanor Parker saved the movie with her rendition of the two look-alike Fairlie cousins in this wonderful adaption of a timeless classic. The supporting cast was superb with Moorehead, Greenstreet and Alexis Smith. The best of all was John Abbott as the family hypochondriac. Unfortunately, Gig Young barely rose to the occasion but was adequate. I just bought the DVD and it was worth it.
