Eleanor Parker talks about Caged

Here's a great newspaper article from the summer of 1949 where Eleanor Parker talks about her upcoming role in Caged (in the article, the film is referred to by it's original title: "The Cage"). Several very interesting details are mentioned throughout, but perhaps none more compelling than the fact that the legendary Joan Crawford (who had previously been attached to the project) personally recommended that Eleanor Parker play the lead in the movie!
